Green Bean (who we have featurd a number of times) is probably our favourite micro roaster in Johannesburg. 4th Ave Coffee roasters is one of the oldest coffee bean suppliers in South Africa and is besed in the quaint yet bustling suburb of Parkhurst. If you want to see and smell your coffee roasting right in front of your eyes then it is well worth a trip to this little gem. Besides for roasting coffee beans for itself, 4th Avenue also supplies a number of coffee shops within and outside of the Parkhurst area. Try their legendary Pink blend for only R240/kg
Double Shot Coffee and Tea
Double is located in the trendy area of Braamfontein and is one of the best up and coming roasters and coffee bean suppliers in Johannesburg. Double shot sells four signature blends of which three are of South American origin. DCST also offers a great range of craft ice teas and even provides a coffee bar service for functions and events.
Motherland Coffee
Although Motherland is not a roaster themselves we had to feature them on this list as their coffee is just that good. Motherland are famous for their two all African blends, all prepared by some of the best Baristas in South Africa.
