Summer is coming, but sometimes even winter breaks with a hot day, ideal for a cold coffee frappé.
You will need:
- 1.5 Cup ice blocks (holed blocks are easier on the blender)
- 1 Shot Espresso
- 3 heaped tbsp Fat-free Milk Powder
- Sugar or low-calorie sweetener to taste
- Little Milk or Water to start the blending
Put the Ice, then espresso and a little milk/water into the blender and then add the fat-free milk powder and sugar. Blend initially with pulses to break up the ice-blocks, then blend further till smooth. You might have to stop and mix the blend half-way.
For a more creamy texture, increase the amount of milk powder.
Pour into a tall glass, and pop a thick straw into the coffee frappé and enjoy. For and extra pop, you can add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with cocoa powder or sprinkle a broken chocolate flake on top.
Enjoy!
