Coffee Style: Caffè Latte

Caffè Latte is a coffee style prepared by a larger quantity of steamed milk to espresso, giving it an overall milky and softer flavour.

Typically, you take a single or double-shot of espresso and then add about 30 – 470ml (topup to cup) of steamed milk. You can vary the strength of the Latte  by adding more or less shots of espresso.

Most of the time the latte is topped with a layer of micro foam created when the milk is steamed in the frothing process (usually used for cappuccino).
